INVITATION FOR BIDS

TENDER NO: GAMB/WEB/UNICEF/WORKS & GOODS/NCB/02/2022 Contract Name:

• LOT 1 (Works Contract): Drilling, Construction and Pumping Test of 5 (Five) production wells at Itang near Ebogo
• LOT 2 (Goods Contract): Supply of Indian Mark II Hand Pump Spare parts

1. The Gambella Peoples' National Regional State Water and Energy Bureau received a grant from UNICEF and now wants to invite eligible bidders to participate in the mentioned bids (Lot 1 and Lot 2).
2. The Gambella Peoples' National Regional State Water and Energy Bureau now invite Wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders who have Renewed for 2014 E.C and Relevant License (for Lot 1- Grade 1 Water Works Contractor and for Lot 2 Supplier of stated goods), registered for VAT and has recent tax clearance certificate that enables the bidder to participate in bids and registered in Suppliers' list for which this Invitation for Bids is issued.
3. The Gambella Peoples' National Regional State Water and Energy Bureau now invite sealed bids from eligible and reputable Bidders for the LOT -1- Drilling, Construction, and pumping test of 5 (Five) production wells at Itang near Ebogo and LOT -2- Supply of Indian Mark II Hand Pumps Spare Parts;
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders from the stated address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for Lot 1Birr 400 (Four Hundred Birr) and for Lot 2- Birr 200 (Two Hundred).
5. All bidders are required to submit a bid bond for LOT 1- ETB 300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Birr) and for LOT 2- ETB 14,000 (Fourteen Thousand Birr) in the form of a Bank Guarantee, or certified payment order (CPO). The Submission of the bid Security shall be in a Separate envelope, sealed in the outer envelope or in the Original Technical Proposal.
6.  The technical and financial proposals have to be separately prepared and sealed with all necessary copies (Three copies) as indicated in the instruction to bidders and the Bid data sheet.
7. Bids must be delivered to the above office before/on the 11th of Sep, 2022 at 3:30 P.M. and will be opened on the same day at 4:00 P.M in the presence of Bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at Gambella Peoples' National Regional State Water and Energy Bureau, office of procurement department Block-3 Room No-5. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
8.  Gambella Peoples' National Regional State Water and Energy Bureau reserve the right to accept or reject part or all of the bidding process.
