Invitation for Bids (IFB)

1. B/G/R/ State Water Works Construction Enterprise seeks to buy ELECTRO MECHANICAL equipment (Surface, Submersible Pump, & Switch Board) for water supply projects.

2. The Enterprise now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders, who have renewed licenses for the year, and registered for VAT and TIN, for the supply of the Items described above.

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of:

4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder by submitting a written application to the above & upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 400.00 (Four Hundred Birr) only, at the Ministry of Water and Energy, Room no 10.

5. Bids must be delivered to the above address, on the 15th day after the day announced in The Ethiopian Herald at 4:00 (local time), at the Ministry of Water and Energy, Room no.10 and must be accompanied by a bid security of 100,000.00 (One hundred thousand Birr) in the form of a certified check or bank guarantee from a domestic reputable Bank sealed in a separate envelope or together with the technical

6. The Technical part of the Bid will be opened in the presence of bidders or bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the 15th day at 4:30 (Local time) after the day announced on The Ethiopian Herald at the Ministry of Water and Energy, Addis Ababa. If the delivery and the opening date lie on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays, the next working day will be the delivery and the opening date of the bid. part.
