1. Hawassa University now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of cobblestone & fence work at Wondo genet Forestry College.
2. The bidder has to present valid license/ trade and construction/ tax clearance letter and VAT registration certificate and TIN registration to purchase the bid document.
3. Eligible bidders are required to submit technical and financial proposals original and copies in a separate envelope. A bidder will be selected based on the selection procedures described in the bidding document.
4. All bid documents (one original & two copies) shall be produced in separate wax-sealed envelopes labeled as "original" and "copy" and, the technical documents must be in a different envelopes labeled financial and technical respectively.
5. A complete set of documents may be purchased by any interest eligible bidder at: Hawassa University Procurement & Property Management Directorate, Tel. 046 220 2647 Fax:- 046 220 5163, P.O. Box 5 Hawassa against a non-refundable fee of birr 200 (Two Hundred Birr)
6. Any quires can be forwarded to the procuring entity from Monday to Friday at working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Hawassa University Procurement & Property Management Directorate.
7. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in the form of a bank guarantee or CPO, Letter of Credit, or Cash of an amount birr 150,000 (One Hundred Fifty Thousand Birr).
8. Bids must be delivered to Hawassa University on the 15th day of the announcement floated on 2:00 PM-5:00 PM. If it becomes a weekend/holiday it will be the next working day till 05:00 pm and the technical proposal will be opened at 9:00 AM on the next day in the bid opening Hall of Hawassa University Procurement & Property Management Directorate in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening.
9. Financial Bid Documents shall be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend, on the date to be announced by the employer.
10. Hawassa University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
