Invitation to Bid

For Passenger Lift Supply and Installation of Semen G. General Trading Sh. Co G+4 building at Semen Gebeya Sheger Mall

Semen G. General Trading Sh. Co. has almost completed the market center construction project under its ownership. For the completeness of the project Block A and Block B, G+4 building Passenger Lift shall be supplied and installed. The main scopes of the services are to supply and install dependable, efficient two-passenger lifts. Therefore, the Client now invites all Lift supplier firms who have valid licenses, registrations, and certificates as appropriate to submit their bid.

1.Each firm interested to offer bid prices for the supply and installation services must also submit:

a. Copies of Trade Licenses, Main Registration, Competency Certificate, VAT Certificate, TIN Certificate, and Tax Clearance Certificate;

b. Brochures, Company Profiles, Company Organization, Project Completion Certificates, etc. which would illustrate the Firm's experience and capability in supply and installation of similar passenger lift projects;

2. Bidders shall submit a bid security unconditional bank guarantee bond or CPO from a recognized Bank in Ethiopia to the value of Birr 250,000.00 (Two Hundred Fifty Thousand ETB) payable to Semen G. General Trading Sh. Co. Office.

3. A complete set of Bidding Documents prepared in English shall be purchased from Semen G. General Trading Sh. Co. Office on the 4th floor starting July 22, 2022, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee Birr 100.00 ETB (One Hundred Birr), starting from the first date of this announcement on Gazexta for the consecutive 15 (Fifteen) working days.

4. Please read the instructions on the tendering procedures carefully. Failure to comply with them may invalidate your tender.

5. Bid proposals comprising Original and Copy of the separately sealed envelope which is Technical (Qualification) and financial Proposals should be presented to Semen G. General Trading Sh. Co. Office until August 9, 2022, at 2:30 PM. Late tenders will be submitted and will not be considered valid.

6. Bid opening and the closing date will be on August 9, 2022, at 9:00 PM in Semen G. General Trading Sh. Co. Office 4Th Floor. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders' representatives'

7. Semen G. General Trading Sh. Co. has full right to accept or reject any or all bids.
