Safaricom Telecommunication Ethiopia is looking to lease a suitable warehouse

WAREHOUSE SPACE FOR LEASE
REQUEST FOR OFFERS

We are looking for a suitable Warehouse for Lease. The warehouse should meet the following requirements:

• Location: Addis Ababa, and be within 20 km of Addis Ababa city center preferably the Kaity area.
• Size: 7000 sqm compound space with a Building roof area of 3000 sqm
• Floor finish: clean floor finish suitable for clean goods
• Be in an area with good security and be capable of being secured. Own secure perimeter wall or other protection is preferred.
• Be ready for occupation by 1st August 2022
• Be of modem construction standard with adequate utilities such as water and electricity and good sanitation.
• Fiber connection has already been done or proximity to the optic fiber service line
• Have attached office space

SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES

Interested warehouse owners should submit their response to the following email address: bids@safaricom.et no later than 29th July 2022 at 5:00 pm (GMT +3) and should include the following;

a) The name of the property owner (whether individual or company)

b) Copies of the registration certificate, business license, and Tax

c) A copy of the title deed of the property. Only properties with clean titles will be considered.

d) A full rental offer for 3 years

e) A comprehensive information memorandum for the proposed property.

The information memorandum should consist of;

• A map showing the location of the property
• Layout drawings of the property
• Building use permit
• A schedule of the gross built as well as lettable areas
• Any other information the owner may want to provide

Please put the title of the e-mail submission as "warehouse space
for lease"

• All submissions by email should be less than 20MB, and if the file size is larger than 20MB, please share via the google drive link. Safaricom may enter into negotiations with property owners of short-listed offers.

• Only the offers that meet our minimum requirements will be considered for further discussions.
• Any costs associated with the preparation and submission of the response to the request for offers shall be borne by the respondent.

Safaricom Telecommunication Ethiopia reserves, as its sole discretion, the right to select or reject, either in totality or partially, any or all proposals made in the context of this request for offers. Any such decisions made will be final and no correspondence will be engaged in, other than for informing the bidders of the outcome of the process. Safaricom Ethiopia and its authorized representatives are hereby authorized to conduct any inquiries or investigations to verify the documents and information submitted in connection with this application.
