Invitation to Bid

Tender No. ECWCT/ICB/PW/148/2014

1. The Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation invites sealed bids under International Competitive Bidding (ICB) from registered suppliers for the supply of supply and Installation of aluminum and related work for the construction of the Ministry of Trade and Industry headquarters office Building.

2. Whereas a supplier who wishes to participate in this bid but is not yet registered in the suppliers' list may apply to the relevant authority for registration.

3. The bidding document may be purchased by interested suppliers from the office of the Foreign Procurement Team against payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00(birr Two hundred).

4. This invitation for bid is open to all interested bidders regardless of their nationality and the bid evaluation and award shall be determined in accordance with the provisions indicated in the bidding document. The bidding document is prepared in the English language.

5. Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence;

i. Trading License renewed for 2014 EC; and

ii. Tax Clearance Certificate indicating the bidder is allowable to participate in any public tender,

iii. Vat Registration certificate and

iv. Registration certificate as a supplier from the mandated public body,

6. Bids must be delivered or deposited in the Tender Box available at the office of the Foreign Procurement Team before the closing date and time on, August 01/2022 at 2:00 PM.

7. Bids will be opened on, August 01/2022 at 2:30 PM in the Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation, Procurement Department Conference Room in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend.

8. All bids must be accompanied by bid security; the amount of the Bid Proposal security shall be 500,000.00 (Birr five hundred Thousand). The bid security should be either in the form of Certified Payment Order (CPO) or a Bank Guarantee in the name of Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation. Bid bond in the form of an insurance bond or in any other form shall not be accepted.

9. The Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation reserves its right to reject any or all bids.
