RE-INVITATION TO BID

1. Public Servants' Social Security Administration now invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary material, labor, and equipment for the construction and maintenance of different Blocks that will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Government Procurement Guideline. Interested Bidders should fulfill the following requirements:

This invitation is for all Contractors of GC-6/BC-6

• Trade License on Construction service License Valid for the year 2014 E.C.
• Business Organization trade registration certificate
• Competence certificate valid for the year 2014 E.C. from the Ministry of Urban Development, Housing and Construction /Ethiopian Construction Authority.
• VAT Registration Certificate
• Clearance from Inland Revenue Administration Valid within the bid process Year
• Registration certificate in the supplier's list under Public Procurement and
• Property Administration Agency for the bid process Year

2. Interested bidders on the submission of a written application in English language to Public Servants' Social Security Administration may purchase a complete set of bidding documents, and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 500 (Five Hundred Birr) starting from the date of bid announcement on newspaper.

3. The amount of the Bid security shall be ETB Birr 50,000 (Fifty Thousand). Bid Security at the bidder's option could be in the form of CPO (Certified cheque or payable order,) or an Unconditional Bank Guarantee. It shall be valid for a period of 28 (twenty-eight) days after bid opening and must be accompanied by security specified under section 4-(bidding form) and shall be delivered to Public Servants' Social Security Administration.

4. Bidders shall submit one original and two copies of the Technical Documents in such a way that the original and each copy of the Technical Document after being sealed separately shall be placed in a single wax-sealed envelope marked as Technical Document".

 5. The Financial Offer Document shall also be produced in the same manner as the technical document and shall be placed in a single wax-sealed envelope marked as "Financial Offer Document". Finally, both documents shall be placed in one outer mother envelope; every envelope should be wax sealed, signed, and stamped properly.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address of Public Servants' Social Security Administration on or before 11:00 AM on the 21st day of the first Bid announcement date in the newspaper. If the bid closing or opening date is on holiday, the closing or opening of the bid will be the next working day at the same time and at the same venue. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bid submissions will be rejected.

7. Bids must be opened in the presence of the bidder's representative, who chooses to attend in person at Public Servants' Social Security Administration, seminar block on the ground floor at 11:30 AM on the same date.

8. Public Servants' Social Security Administration reserves the right to reject the bid fully or partially.
