1.  The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia SNNPRS Lowland Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of shallow well drilling and construction works.
2. The SNNPRS Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP) via Hamer Woreda Pastoral Affairs Office now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders having Water Well Drilling Contractor Licenses of Grade 5 and above, for Procurement of 07 (Seven) Shallow Well Drilling and Construction Works.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers date December 20, 2016, November 1, 2017, and August 1, 2018 ("Procurement Guidelines"), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulation. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's Policy on Conflict of Interest.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from SNNPRS Hamer Woreda Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP), Woreda Project Coordination Unit, Belayneh Fekadu Woreda Project Procurement Officer, and Email: belaynehfekadu19@gmail.com  and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 hour's local time at the address given below.

5. A complete set of bidding documents in the English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 300.00 (Three hundred Birr only). The method of payment will be cash. The document will be sent to the address below by hand delivery procedure.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before July 28, 2022, at 15:00 local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on July 28, 2022, at 15:30 local time.

7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 35,000.00 /Thirty-Five Thousand Birr' in the form of a CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee.
